    20 Getting Started 1.2 Installing the USIM/SIM Card, Battery, and Storage Card Always turn off your device before installing or removing the USIM/SIM card or battery. The USIM/SIM card contains your phone number, service details, and phonebook/message memory. Your device supports both 1.8V and 3V SIM cards.

Insert the bottom side of the battery first, then gently push the battery into place.
