Adjusting The Float Switch
The float switch allows you to adjust the switching On and Off of the pump depending on the application
requirements. The float switch can also be set to ensure the pump continues to run.
Automatic Mode
In automatic mode float heights can be adjusted between max 500mm to 150mm. To
control the automatic switching On and Off of your pump at various water levels, simply
reduce or increase the length of the float switch cable (8) by inserting the cable into
the float switch adjustor (7) which is located on the side of the pump (Fig. 15).

Manual Mode
Caution: You must observe the pump at all times during manual mode. Prolonged use in manual mode may result
in a shorter motor life.
Set the float switch cable (8) up to the cable grommet/cable strain relief as close
as possible in the float switch adjustor (7) (Fig. 16).
To turn on: Simply lift up the float above horizontal to turn on. The pump will
now run in manual mode until the pump is manually turned off.
To turn off: Tilt the float below 30° and /or switch off at the power outlet.
