Electric Starter Button "" 3
Use this button to operate the starter
motor. With the ignition switch in the
"ON" position, the engine stop switch in
the "" position, and the transmission
in neutral, pull in the clutch lever and
push the electric starter button to start
the engine.
NOTE: This motorcycle has a starter
interlock system for the ignition and
starter circuit. The engine can only be
started if:
• The transmission is in neutral and
the clutch is disengaged, or
• The transmission is in gear, the side
stand is fully up and the clutch is dis-
engaged.
NOTE: The headlight will go off when
the electric starter button is pushed.
