Alignment:
Start the engine and accelerate slightly
so that track turns slowly. Check that
the track is well centered; equal dis-
tance on both sides between edges of
track guides and slider shoes.

W A RNING: Before checking track
alignment, ensure that the track
is free of all particles which could be
thrown out while track is rotating.
Keep hands, tools, feet and clothing
clear of track. Ensure no-ons is stand-
ing in close proximity to the vehicle.
To correct, stop the engine loosen the
rear idler wheels retaining screws then
loosen the lock nuts and tighten the
adjuster bolt on side where the slider
shoe is the furthest to the track insert
guides.
Tighten lock nuts and recheck the align-
ment. Ensure to retighten the idler
wheel retaining screws.
Drive Pulley
Inspect the Duralon bushing condition
by checking the free-play of the sliding
half pulley. This is achieved by restrai-
ing the inner half and checking if the
sliding half moves in the direction of
the arrows more than 3 mm

Steering Mechanism
Inspect the steering mechanism for
tightness of components (steering arms,
tie rods, ball joints, spring coupler
bolts, etc.). If necessary
