fax numbers.
LSU Software (Local Setup Utility)
Access and manage most features of the magicolor 2590MF's control
panel conveniently from the desktop using LSU software. This utility is
found on the Applications CD-ROM and serves as a desktop director for
these functional areas:
Machine Setting—Define basic preferences, including language,
zoom metrics, and buzzer volume
Paper Source—Define paper type and size associated with
standard input tray
Copy Setting / Direct Print—Define copy mode, density level,
quality, collation settings; define settings for the Camera Direct
Photo Printing option performed over the USB Host Port.
TX Operation—Define outgoing fax TX settings, including Scan
Contrast and Resolution
RX Operation—Define incoming fax RX settings, including number
of rings, RX Mode and RX Print Mode, and Memory RX Mode
Communication / Report—Define fax features, including general
Communication functions (Tone/Pulse, Line Monitor, PSTN/PBX);
and Report settings (Activity Report, TX Result Report, RX Result
Report)
Email Setting—Define e-mail settings for using the magicolor
2590MF's Scan to Email function, including E-Mail Address,
SMTP Server Address, Port Number, and Subject Line
Network Setting—Define the magicolor 2590MF's IP Address
automatically or manually, enable or disable its DNS configuration
Scanner Setting—Define scan resolution, image format that the
document will be saved as once scanned, and the coding method
used for scanning
LSU software can also be used to set up fax and email directories for
more efficient operation.
Use the simple interface for entering fax and email recipient's names
and numbers for the one-touch option.
