(VR and Motor Set) Cover Note: The E8300 display differs from the 8300. All other parts are the same. For brevity sake, in this manual, 8300=E8300. In the section on display operation, only the 8300 is shown. For E8300 display information, refer to notes marked E8300.
Generator-powered unit must be operated at 25 steps per minute or more to get stride function. STEP TO START appears on display if exercise speed is too slow for generator operation. Start Up There are two ways to start the 8300 Elliptical Trainer: (1) Generator Start: Exercise on the unit; (2) Battery Start: Press display ON key. Turn Off There are two ways to turn off the unit: (1) Automatic - Don’t exercise on the unit.

To troubleshoot ERR12, first check that there is no mechanical reason for ERR12 (below). Then replace the main program IC chip with an updated version.
