Recording on optical discs and SD cards

Recording motion pictures

Motion pictures and scenes can be selected from a variety of folders of motion pictures saved on the computer with this software to be
recorded in any order on optical discs and SD cards. You can record in high or standard definition.

Motion pictures for recording in DVD-Video format must be at least 2 seconds long. Motion pictures for recording in DVD-VR format must be
at least 3 seconds long. Motion pictures less than 2 seconds long cannot be recorded on SD cards.

Motion pictures converted to MPEG2 format can also be used in DVD-Video or DVD-VR recording.

Motion pictures recorded in MP4/iFrame format are converted to MPEG2 format (standard picture quality) before being copied to the disc.
MP4/iFrame motion pictures are recorded on an SD card, and can be played only using the video camera that this software accompanied.

1080/60p or 1080/50p recording

The 1080/60p and 1080/50p recording modes are the 1080/60p (1920 x 1080/60 progressive) and 1080/50p (1920 x 1080/50 progressive)
recording modes that enable high picture quality recording.

Scenes recorded in 1080/60p or 1080/50p format can be saved and played using this software or a video camera that this software
accompanied.

Scenes recorded in 1080/60p or 1080/50p format cannot be copied to a disc with 1080/60p or 1080/50p picture quality.

Motion pictures recorded in 1080/60p or 1080/50p format are converted to AVCHD or MPEG2 format (standard picture quality) before being
copied to the disc. SD cards to which motion pictures are copied in 1080/60p or 1080/50p format can only be played on playback devices that
are compatible with 1080/60p or 1080/50p format. However, note that in some cases, it may not be possible to play 1080/60p or 1080/50p
motion pictures that were edited with this software.
