To take a picture with the phone closed:
1.
Press and hold the side camera key to start the camera mode.
2.
Point the camera lens at your subject.
3.
Press the side camera key to take the picture. (The picture will
automatically be saved.)
Open the phone to review the picture and for more options.
Note:
This function is available only when the Side Key Guard setting is off. See
page 43 for the Side Key Guard.

Camera Mode Options

When the phone is open and in camera mode, press Options (right
softkey) to display additional camera options:
Picture Mode to select picture mode from Normal, Night/Dark,
Beach/Snow, Scenery, or Soft Focus.
Zoom to zoom in on a subject. You can adjust the zoom from 1x to
20x, depending on your resolution settings.

Note:
Zoom is not available when the resolution setting is High. (See "Selecting
Camera Settings"on page 97 for details.)
Self-Timer to activate the camera's timer. (See "Setting the
Self-Timer" on page 96 for details.)
Fun Tools to select an option from the following:
Fun Frames to select your favourite fun picture frame to
decorate your picture. (This option is not available when
the resolution setting is High. See page 97 for how to set
your resolution settings.)
Color Tone to select a wide variety of colour tones for the
picture.
Image Controls to select from the following options:
Brightness to select Auto or Manual brightness control. If you
select Manual, press the navigation key right (increase) or
left (decrease) to select a setting and press
selected setting.
White Balance to adjust white balance based on changing
conditions. Select from Auto, Sunny, Cloudy, Tungsten,
Fluorescent, or Manual.
