Fan fails to circulate air

than normal
Fan continually cycles

Possible Causes
A fuse may be blown or a
circuit breaker may be tripped.
Excessively soiled filter.
The motor is probably
overheating and turning itself
off. This can be harmful to
the motor. Filter may be
excessively soiled.
Vent lever is in the
VERTICAL position (flat
against the plastic blower
housing) for recirculating.
What To Do
• Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
• Wash and replace the filters. See the Reusable
Metal Grease Filters section.
• Replace the filter if it is too soiled to clean. If it
is not soiled, or if replacing the filter does not
solve the problem, call for service.
• Replace the filter if it is soiled. If it is not soiled,
or if replacing the filter does not solve the problem,
call for service.
• Move the lever back to the HORIZONTAL position
(flat against the metal top of the hood) to vent
to the outside. See Step 10 in the Installation
Instructions for vent lever operation. This is normal
if the hood has been installed to recirculate.
