    Packing these units in other containers in such a way that they are damaged will void your warranty. 2.2 Location and Mounting The DTV720 should be located indoors and may be mounted in a standard, 19-inch equipment rack within one standard RU. WARNING This is a Class A product.

Circuit Overloading Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the supply circuit and the effect that overloading of circuits could have on overcurrent protection and supply wiring.

    The Terminal serial port is configured to 115.2k, N, 8, 1. The Terminal device is used for command and control of the DTV720. This I/O is a basic, VT100- like emulation. User input text strings terminated in carriage-returns prompt all I/O.

    There are two basic methods of using the Ethernet connection – with a directly connected PC or with a PC connected through a LAN.     3.8 Software Downloads The DTV720 may be field upgraded with new application software via the Ethernet port. During the upgrade process, the DTV720 will not be processing signals, so it is best to take the unit offline while downloading new software.

    If you are experiencing any difficulties, first check the LCD and LED indica- tors on the DTV720 to determine if any warnings or alarms are active. See Table 6: LED Indicator Descriptions on page 27 for descriptions of LED states.
