SERVICE AT INTERVALS INDICATED
Verify safety start interlock system
Visually inspect unit for loose
hardware and/or damaged parts
Visually inspect tires
Check oil level, engine (1)
Clean air intake screen (4)
Clean foam element (4)
Check fuel level
Blades - sharpen & securely fastened
Discharge chute - securely in place &
in lowest position
Check hydraulic oil level
Clean engine and transaxle
compartment
Change transaxle oil and filter (7)
Grease deck height pivots
Grease gauge wheel bearings
Change engine oil and filter (1) (3)
Clean cylinder and head fins(a)
Check battery connections
Check tire pressure with a gauge
Check hydraulic oil level
Clean engine exterior (a)
Clean & re gap spark plugs (a)
Check pump and deck belt tension
and condition (5)
Check fuel and hydraulic lines (6)
Check fuel valve and grommet (6)
Tighten lug nuts on wheels (2)
Change fuel filter
Replace spark plugs
NOTES:
1. Initial oil change is after 5 hours of operation. Thereafter, change oil after every 40 hours operation. Change more
often under dusty or dirty conditions and during hot weather periods.
2. Torque initially and after first 2 hours of operation.
3. Change engine oil filter per the engine manufacturer's recommendations. Refer to Engine Owner's Manual for rec-
ommendations and other maintenance items.
4. Service more often under dusty or dirty conditions.
5. Pump drive belt only - Inspect every 6 months or 100 hours and replace if worn or cracking is noticed. Other-
wise, replace every 200 hours or 2 years whichever comes first.
6. Check fuel line hoses, fuel valve and grommets for any cracks or leaks
7. Initial system oil and filter change mus
ter, replace filter and oil in each transaxle every 2 years or 200 hours, whichever comes first.
