NOTE
• You can also specify the file format of the imported song (audio file) in the [File] tab of the option setup dialog
displayed by selecting [Options] from the [Tools] menu.
This specification applies to all imports including library update.
• Songs can also be imported by folder (album). See Help for details.
• You can also select [Import File] from the [File] menu.
• The original song (audio file itself ) is not copied or moved when it is imported by the above method.
• You can set to automatically import to the Master Library by placing newly ripped songs in a certain folder
(watched folder). See Help for details.
• Song with copy protection set by Windows Media Player cannot be imported to the library of this software.
When the song with copy protection is to be imported, message "Content protected music files cannot be
imported. " will appear. Click [OK] to close the message.
If songs with DRM exists among selected songs, the above message will appear and the import of that file will fail.
Other songs without DRM will be imported.
• If you selected [No] for step 3, but there is a song you want to analyze immediately, select the song to analyze
in the file list view, right-click and select [Analyze this song] in the displayed context menu. Data analysis of the
selected song starts.
• Data analysis cannot be performed correctly during import for songs that do not satisfy the following conditions:
– Length of the song is less than 20 seconds
– Number of channels is not 1 or 2
– Sampling unit is not 16 bits
– Sampling frequency is not 22.05, 32.00, 44.10, or 48.00 kHz
• For songs that failed data analysis, the main part start location is set to 30 seconds from the beginning of the song.
Change the location of the main part according to the actual song after importing. See Help for details.
