5 Playlists Playlists With this software, you can play your favorite songs or songs collected according to predefined rules like an album. There are three types of playlist: • Playlists The user selects the songs to put in playlist. • Dynamic playlist The user specifies the rule (such as artist or genre) for selecting songs to put in the playlist. - Page 63 5 Playlists Creating a dynamic playlist In the target library, you can create a playlist of automatically collected songs satisfying a specified condition (dynamic playlist). Each time a song is added to the library, it is checked according to a specified rule and automatically added to the dynamic playlist.
- Page 64 5 Playlists NOTE • You can create up to 99 playlists with up to 9999 songs per playlist. • You cannot set crossfade for dynamic playlist. • If [Live updating] is unchecked in the dynamic playlist dialog, the dynamic playlist is not updated automatically when songs are added to the library.
- Page 65 5 Playlists Creating an impression playlist In the target library, you can create a playlist of automatically collected songs with the specified theme (impression playlist). In the file list view, right-click the song to be the theme of the impression playlist. Click [Select songs focusing around this song] from the context menu.

Be sure to complete data analysis before automatically creating impression playlist because songs that have not completed data analysis are not included.
- Page 67 5 Playlists Setting playlist crossfade Cross-fade is a smooth transition from the end of one song to the beginning of next song. You can load multiple songs in a playlist to car audio as one continuous file by setting crossfade for a playlist.
