Department Step Calling - NEC i-Series Alphanumeric Display Feature Handbook

If you place an Intercom call to a busy Department Group member,
Department Step Calling allows you to quickly call another member in
the same group. You don't have to hang up and place another Intercom
call. You can also use Department Step Calling to cycle through the
members of a Department Group.
To make a Step Call:

Department Step Calling

1. Place call to busy Department Group
member.
OR
Place call to Department Group pilot
number.
2. or
3. Repeat step 2 to call other Department
Group members.
