Fault
Hedge trimmer does not start
Warning !
If any other faults arise, please contact GARDENA Service.
The equipment may not be disposed of as normal household
refuse but must be disposed of in the technically correct manner.
DANGER ! Risk of injury !

V Before performing any maintenance, release the
battery and push the blade guard

V Do not clean the hedge trimmer under running
water (especially high pressure).
The safety slip clutch is under strong tension and
may not be dismantled.
v Clean hedge trimmer with a damp cloth and oil the blades with
a low viscosity oil (e. g. spray-oil).
DANGER ! Risk of injury !
V Before attempting to rectify faults, release the battery
and push the blade guard on to the blade.
Possible Cause
Battery is not charged.
Battery has a poor contact
or no contact with the hedge
trimmer.
Work on the electrical part of the equipment may only be
undertaken by GARDENA Service.
