ENABLE / DISABLE TALK FUNCTION

To enable or disable the talk function:
•
Plug or unplug the adaptor.
OR
•
Press and hold UP and DOWN for 3 seconds.
will appear in the bottom, right-hand corner of the
LCD display when the talk function is enabled.
NOTE If you are using the adaptor and want to turn the
talk function OFF, then press and hold UP and DOWN
for 3 seconds.

USING THE TALK FUNCTION

To instantly hear the current time, indoor temperature,
humidity and weather forecast, press and hold SNOOZE
/ LIGHT for 3 seconds.
To hear the time, temperature, humidity and weather
forecast every hour for a set period of time i.e. 6pm to
10pm, or once every 24 hours:
1. Press SELECT to navigate to the Clock / Alarm
Area.
2. Press and hold MODE for 2 seconds.
3. Press MODE to scroll through until you reach the
talk setting, (it appears immediately after display
language).
4. Select 1hr or 24hr broadcast, talk start-time, talk
stop-time and talk volume.
5. Press UP or DOWN to change the setting.
6. Press MODE to confirm.
NOTE If you select the 24-hour talk function, you do not
need to enter a talk stop-time.

TALK VOLUME

The talk function icon appears in the bottom, right-hand
corner of the LCD display.
