If you have set up another Internet connection, you are able
to configure your MTC100 to use only the desired
connection.
1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections tab > Connections.
2. Tap Advanced tab > Select Networks.
3. In the Programs that automatically connect to the
Internet should connect using field, select the desired
connection, and then tap OK.

Managing Power

A fully charged battery typically provides power for up to 8
hours of use. The operating time of a fully charged battery
depends on a number of factors including the type of
applications being used, the usage profile of the PDA and the
age of the battery. Additional functions which affect battery
consumption include, display backlight, camera light,
multimedia, GPS and Wireless LAN (Enhanced model only)
and Secure Digital memory card.
You should recharge the battery when a warning of low
power is displayed on your MTC100 TETRA PDA, or the
PDA will turn off automatically. You will need to recharge the
MTC100 TETRA PDA before you can use it again.
See Chapter 1 for information about powering on your
MTC100 TETRA PDA.
To check the remaining power:
1. On the Start menu, tap Settings.
2. On the System tab, tap the Power icon.
The remaining power is displayed on a status bar in the
Power control panel.

The MTC100 PDA has a power management function that
helps maintain maximum battery life. The product is factory
