The following is a checklist of the areas of the READY CARE LIFT that should be
inspected on a regular basis. It is recommended to inspect the lift monthly or bi-monthly.
This will depend on frequency of use. Any part which appears worn or wearing should be
replaced immediately for safety of caregiver and patient.

SLING HOLDER
HANGER SHAFT (CHECK FOR WEAR)
MAIN PIVOT BOLT AND BUSHING (CHECK FOR WEAR)
RAISING ARM
PIVOT BOLT
HANDGRIPS
HANGER /SCALE PIVOT BOLT
ELECTRIC ASSEMBLY
RAISES AND LOWERS SMOOTHLY
HAND CONTROL
BATTERIES
WEIGHT TESTED TO
UNDERCARRIAGE
LEG LOCKING BOLTS
LEG WIDENING ASSEMBLY
LEG WIDENING ARMS
CASTORS
PAINT & CHROME
BELTS OR SLINGS VISUAL
ALL MOVING PARTS (I.E. BOLTS AND METAL BUSHINGS) SHOULD BE
LUBRICATED AT LEAST EVERY SIX MONTHS WITH LITHIUM GREASE.
