Section 5: Configuration
STEP 2:
Choose your Time Zone from the drop-down menu. Click Next
to continue.
STEP 3:
Setup your Internet connection. The default selection, DHCP, obtains IP
address information automatically if you have a DHCP server (i.e. router)
running on your LAN.
Select Static IP for a static or fixed IP address. You can obtain a static or
fixed IP address from your network administrator.
Note: If no DHCP server is available on the LAN where the DNR-202L and the
cameras are located, check the box to enable the DNR-202L as a DHCP server.
Then it will allocate dynamic IP addresses to the DHCP clients on the LAN.
Set a range of IP addresses allocated by the DHCP server and enter the
DHCP Lease Time. The lease time refers to the time that the IP address is
leased to the clients by the DHCP server. When the time expires, the client
has to acquire an IP address again.
Click Next to continue.
