    MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY COVERAGE: This ECS Warranty is valid for two years, or for the same period as specified in the Generac Limited Warranty, whichever is longer. For generators equipped with hour meters, the warranty period is a number of hours equal to half the Useful Life to which the generator is certified, or the warranty period specified above in years, whichever is less.

    (1) Any warranted part that is not scheduled for replacement as required maintenance in the Owner's Manual shall be warranted for the ECS Warranty Period. If any such part fails during the ECS Warranty Period, it shall be repaired or replaced by Generac according to Subsection (4) below. Any such part repaired or replaced under the ECS Warranty shall be warranted for the remainder of the ECS Warranty Period.

(Generac) warrants its XP Series generators will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the items and period set forth below. Generac will, at its option, repair or replace any part which, upon examination, inspection and testing by Generac or a Generac Authorized Warranty Service Dealer, is found to be defective.
