Using the Parental Control Feature

This feature allows you to restrict outgoing and incoming calls, access to
Telecom services and Push 2 Talk calls, and use the Edit Phone Book
function. Most menu options are the same as the Security menu options.
To access the Parental Control menu:

Enter your lock code to display the Parental Control menu.
Tip:
The lock code for both the Security and Parental Control settings is the same.
Note:
Regardless of whether you set Lock Services, Changed Lock, or Limit Use
from the Security menu or the Parental Control menu, the most recent setting
takes precedence.
To restrict outgoing and incoming calls:
1.
From the Parental Control menu display, select Limit Use >
Outgoing Calls, or Incoming Calls.
2.
Select Allow All, Ph. Book Only, or Special #s Only.
To lock services:
1.
From the Parental Control menu display, select Lock Services >
Internet or Push 2 Talk.
2.
Select Locked. (Select Unlocked to disable this feature.)
To change your lock code:
1.
From the Parental Control menu display, select Change Lock.
2.
Enter and re-enter your new lock code.
To add or replace a special number:
1.
From the Parental Control menu display, select Special #s.
2.
Select a field for your entry and press

Enter the number and press
To edit Contacts:
You can also edit Contacts from the Parental Control menu while any
Limit Use feature (except Allow All) is enabled.
1.
From the Parental Control menu display, select Edit Ph. Book.
2.
Select the entry you would like to edit and press
3.
Press Edit (left softkey). If the display shows Options (left
softkey), press it and then select Edit to proceed. (You may be
required to enter your lock code again to edit.)
