Restoring Default Settings

This option restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer
types and display settings. The Contacts, Call History, Calendar,
and Messaging are not affected.
1. From the Security menu display, select Erase/Reset >
DefaultSetting.
2. Press OK (left softkey) to continue.
3. If you are certain you would like to restore all the factory
settings, select Yes.

Resetting Your Phone

Resetting the phone resets all settings and erases all data on your
phone.
1. From the Security menu display, select Erase/Reset >
Reset Phone.
2. Read a disclaimer and press OK (left softkey) to continue.
3. If you are certain you would like to reset your phone,
select Yes.

Using the Parental Control Feature

This feature allows you to restrict outgoing and incoming calls,
access to Telecom services, and editing of your Contacts. Most
menu options are the same as the Security menu options.
To access the Parental Control menu:
1. Select
2. Enter your lock code to display the Parental Control menu.
Tip:
The lock code for both the Security and Parental Control settings is
the same.
Note:
Regardless of whether you set Limit Use, Special Numbers, or
Lock Services, or you change the lock code from the Security menu or
the Parental Control menu, the most recent setting takes precedence.
To restrict outgoing and incoming calls:
1. From the Parental Control menu display, select Limit Use >
Outgoing Calls, or Incoming Calls.
2. Select Allow All, Contacts Only, or Special #s Only.
