Cutter Installation and the Cutting-start Location Setting

Do not touch the tip of the blade with your fingers.
CAUTION
Doing so may result in injury.
1.
Install the cutter, and make the setting for the Z origin position.
Attach the cutter holder, and collet.
Lower the spindle and bring the tip of the collet close to the surface of the workpiece.
2.
Make the setting for the XY origin point.
Move the spindle to the cutting-start location.
Insert the cutter.
Tool securing screw
Make the tip of the cutter touch the surface of the
workpiece, and tighten the tool securing screw.

Using the operation panel screen, select
[Set the Z origin here].
Click [Set].
The Z origin has now been set.
Select [Set the XY origin here].
Click [Set].
The XY origin has now been set.
