Bottom Cover Plate Assembly (Light Kit Omitted)
WARNING
!
Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To
avoid possible electrical shock, be sure
electricity is turned off at the main fuse
box before wiring. All wiring must be in
accordance with National and Local codes
and the ceiling fan must be properly
grounded as a precaution against possible
electrical shock.
NOTE: Make sure all wires and
connectors are tucked under the bottom
plate adapter and not pinched between
the bottom plate adapter and the motor
light kit flange.
1. Remove and retain one of the three pan
head screws from the light kit flange; loosen
the other two pan head screws three or four
turns. Position the bottom cover adapter on
the motor light kit flange such that the two
screws mate with the two keyhole slots in
the bottom cover adapter (Figure 19)

2. Turn the bottom cover adapter clockwise to
engage both screws (Figure 20). Reinstall
the previously removed pan head screw
into the remaining hole in the bottom cover
adapter. Tighten all three screws to secure
the adapter to the fan.

3. Place the bottom cover onto the bottom
cover adapter, aligning the three flat areas
on the top edge of the cover with the
protruding tips on the bottom cover
adapter. Turn the bottom cover clockwise
until it stops turning (Figure 21).
