    • If you upgraded your operating system but did not reinstall your scanning software, try reinstalling it. • If you are scanning from a Mac, make sure no other Epson scanner drivers are installed. If other drivers are installed, uninstall them, then reinstall this scanner's software.

    • If network communication was interrupted while starting Epson Scan, exit Epson Scan, wait a few seconds, and restart it. If Epson Scan cannot restart, turn off your scanner, turn it back on, and try restarting Epson Scan again.
