Your system may be equipped with a keyswitch for use when arming and disarming. A
General
red and green light on the keyswitch plate will indicate the status of your system.
Green Light:
Red Light:
GREEN
This indicator lights when the system is disarmed and ready to
be armed (no open zones). If the system is disarmed and the
green light is off, it indicates the system is not ready (one or
more zones are open).
This indicator lights when the system is armed or memory of
alarm exists.
Lit Steady:
Slow Flashing:
Rapid Flashing: Memory of alarm, indicating an
Arming
To arm in the AWAY mode, turn the key to the right
for 1/2 second and release. Keypads will beep twice
RED
and the red light will stay on steady.
To arm in the STAY mode, turn the key to the right
and hold for longer than 1 second, then release.
Keypads will beep three times and the red light will
flash slowly.
Disarming
To disarm the system, turn the key to the right and
release. If an alarm has occurred, the red light will be
flashing rapidly (memory of alarm).
