Hold the lancing device upright above a waste bin.
Press in the plunger until it CLICKS.
The lancet drops out.
If the lancet does not drop out:
Keep the plunger pressed down.
Hook the edge of the white "collar" of the Comfort Dial (cap) behind
the platform of the lancet.
Use the white "collar" to pull the lancet out.

Testing blood glucose
A cut-out area on the inside of the lancet holder makes it easy to hook
the lancet platform.
Make sure the lancet has dropped out.
Inadvertently leaving the lancet in the lancing device may result
in personal injury.
You must remove the lancing device cap to eject the lancet. If you
i
leave the lancing device cap in place, pressing the plunger will
prime the lancing device.
Carefully dispose of used lancets so they cannot cause injury.
