4.1.3 Inserting the lancet

Remove the cap from the lancing device.
Slide a new lancet into the lancet holder,
and push it in until you hear it CLICK into place.

Testing blood glucose
Remove the protective cap from the lancet with a twisting motion.
Press the lancing device cap back on the lancing device.
The locating notch in the cap (1) must be directly aligned with the
locating line on the lancing device (2). The cap snaps into place with
an audible CLICK.
