activation before it takes any action, and be prepared to provide them
with your backup copies of the TPM content.
Hard disk drives
The server is shipped with one of the following drive cages:
– For up to four 3.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives:
Up to four 3.5-inch SAS/SATA HDD modules can be used in the drive cage.
Each HDD module can accommodate an SAS/SATA hard disk drive with a
maximum height of 1 inch. The HDD modules are connected to the
SAS/SATA backplane wirelessly. This allows HDD modules to be plugged in
or pulled out easily.

Up to four SATA hard disk drives are controlled by the onboard SATA
controller. An additional SAS/SATA RAIDcontroller must be installed
to control additional SATA hard disk drives or SAS hard disk drives.

Configurations with Eco SATA can only be mixed with BC SATA HDD
type. SAS and BC SATA drives with the same size can be mixed, but
not used in the same logical RAID volume.
– For up to eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA hard disk drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSD
drives:
Up to eight 2.5-inch HDD/SSD modules can be used in the drive cage. Each
module can accommodate SAS/SATA hard disk drive or an SATA SSD drive
with a 2.5-inch format. The HDD/SSD modules are connected to the
SAS/SATA backplane wirelessly. This allows modules to be plugged in or
pulled out easily.

SAS/SATA RAID controller already installed.

If the server has the corresponding RAID configuration, the HDD modules can
