    OPERATION The Power Inverter converts 12-volt DC (direct current) input voltage to 120-volt, 60 Hz AC (alternating current) power.     When you turn on an appliance or device, it will require twice the rated wattage of the appliance or device to start. This is known as the “starting load” or “peak load.” To determine the starting load or peak load, multiply the rated wattage by two. If this exceeds the peak surge output of the Inverter, do not operate the appliance or device with the Inverter.

    Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The red LED indicator will light momentarily, then the green LED power indicator will light continuously, indicating that the unit is functioning. Plug the device into the 120-volt AC receptacle. Switch on the device. If an audible alarm sounds or the red LED fault indicator lights up for a protracted period of time, then either the power source voltage is too low or the current being drawn by the device is too great.
