• Some of the features described below may not
apply to your VCR. See your VCR owner's
manual for details about your VCR's features.
Only the remote control buttons described in this
section work in VCR mode.
• You can set up the remote to control a second
VCR in AUX mode, the same way it controls the
first VCR in VCR mode. See How to Set Up the
Remote to Control Other Devices on page 18.
• You can also set up the remote to control a DVD
player. To do this, you must have the remote
control in VCR mode to set it up to control a
DVD player. Then, you must set the remote to
VCR mode to control the DVD player. The way
you set up the remote to control a DVD player is
by programming the remote with a DVD code
when in VCR mode, instead of a VCR code.
• If you have a JVC Model HM-DSR100-D-VHS,
the VCR buttons will operate the JVC receiver in
VCR mode until you program the remote to
control another VCR.
