5. Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull briskly.
ER GRIP
Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
Do not pull the starter grip while the engine is running, as that may
damage the starter.
Let the engine warm up for several minutes. If the choke rod has been
pulled to the CLOSE position, gradually move the choke rod to the OPEN
position and move the throttle lever to the SLOW position as the engine
warms up.
