    USB technology beyond the desktop. With the USB 2.0 Ranger 442, utilizing multimode fiber, USB devices can be located up to 500 meters from the host computer. With the USB 2.0 Ranger 444, utilizing singlemode fiber, USB devices can be located up to 10km from the host computer.
  • Page 7 User Guide The REX unit: USB 2.0 Ranger 442 and USB 2.0 Ranger 444 The REX unit connects to a USB device using a conventional USB cable. The REX unit allows you to connect up to four USB devices. Additional devices may be connected by attaching a conventional USB hub to the REX unit.
