You can also use rechargeable nickel-cadmium or nickel- metal hydride batteries, also available at your local Ra- dioShack store.

When the pager receives a message code, the code flashes on its display. With set to , the / /OFF pager sounds three series of four beeps for individual and group paging, or 12 continuous beeps for all-paging.
