Problem
The appliance
did not work
properly before
I stored it, but
it now works
properly again.
I have just filled
the clean water
tank, but the tank
full/tank empty
light keeps flash-
ing when I switch
on the appliance.
Water drips out
of the appliance.
26
Possible cause
The mopping nozzle lid
is not closed properly.
The sound of the appli-
ance decreases and the
appliance no longer
applies water to the floor
because the mopping
brushes do not rotate
and the appliance does
not mop up anything.
The active protection
system was activated
because the appliance
picked up a foreign
object other than dirt or
liquid. Then you stored
the appliance for more
than 30 minutes and it
reset itself.
The tank full/tank empty
light may flash a few
times when you switch
on the appliance after
you have filled the clean
water tank.
If the tank full/tank empty
light continues to flash
after filling, the clean
water tank may not be
assembled properly.
Water leaks from the
clean water tank because
you have not put the cap
on the clean water tank
or you have not fastened
this cap properly.
Solution
Make sure the mopping brushes and the mopping
brush cover are assembled correctly. Close the mop-
ping nozzle lid properly. Make sure you press the lid
until it locks with a click (see chapter 'Cleaning and
maintenance', section 'Reassembling the mopping
nozzle').
You need to remove the object that caused the
appliance to work less well and reset the appliance.
To do so, follow the next steps. Put the appliance
upright in parking position('click') and pull the plug
out of the wall socket. Open the mopping nozzle lid,
remove the mopping brush cover and remove the
object. Reinsert the mopping brush cover, close the
mopping nozzle lid, put the plug in the wall socket
and switch on the appliance again (see chapter 'Using
your AquaTrio', section 'Active protection system is
activated'). If you find no object, the active protection
system may have been activated because the mop-
ping brushes are too wet (see second cause of previ-
ous problem) or because you moved the appliance
over a carpet. Pull the plug out of the wall socket,
open and close the mopping nozzle lid, put the plug
in the wall socket again, switch on the appliance and
start cleaning again.
When you switch on the appliance after you have
filled the clean water tank, the tank full/tank empty
light may flash a few times and the appliance may
switch off automatically. This happens because it takes
a few seconds for the water to reach the mopping
nozzle. Release the power-on button. Then push the
unlock slide forwards and press the power-on button
to switch on the appliance again (see chapter 'Pre-
paring for use', section 'Filling the clean water tank').
Make sure you place the clean water tank properly
and that the lever is locked (see chapter 'Preparing
for use', section 'Filling the clean water tank').
Remove the clean water tank from the appliance. Put
the cap on the water tank if it was not there or turn
the cap clockwise to fasten it (see chapter 'Preparing
for use', section 'Filling the clean water tank').
