Removing the Power-Adapter Port

Prerequisites
Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 13.

Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 15.

Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 17.

Remove the palm rest. See "Removing the Palm Rest" on page 27.

Procedure
Remove the screws that secure the power-adapter port bracket to the computer

base.
Lift the power-adapter port bracket off the computer base.
