14-6. Initial settings

You can configure initial settings of this unit.
1. Press [SRC] and select a Standby ("STANDBY") using [Control] knob.
2. Press [Control] knob.
Enters the Function setting mode.
3 Select "Initial Settings" using [Control] knob.
4. Select an Initial setting item using [Control] knob.
Display Description
Set source selection method.
"SRC Select" "1": The source switches each time [SRC] is pressed.
"2": Press [SRC], Turn [Control] knob to select the source, and then press [Control] knob to determine it.
Setting the operation check sound (beep sound) ON/OFF.
"Key Beep"
"ON" / "OFF"
"Function Changes the display language of items displayed in the Function setting mode.
Language" "English" / "Français" / "Español"
"Pandora Sets whether to display Pandora during source selection.
Source" "ON" / "OFF"
"iHeartRADIO Sets whether to display iHeartRADIO during source selection.
Source" "ON" / "OFF"
"aha Sets whether to display aha during source selection.
Source"[2] "ON" / "OFF"
Sets whether to display AUX during source selection.
"Built-in AUX"
"ON" / "OFF"
Sets the method for reading CD.
When unable to play a special format CD, set this setting to "2" to force playing. Note that some music CDs
may be unplayable even when set to "2".
"CD Read"
In addition, audio files cannot be played when set to "2". Normally, keep this set to "1".
1: Automatically distinguishes between the audio file disc and music CD when playing a disc.
2: Forces playing as a music CD.
When iPods are connected to both the front and rear USB terminals, select the iPod to which the tag stored
"TAG Transfer
through iTunes tagging is to be transferred.
Setup"
"FRONT" / "REAR"
Selecting "OFF" turns off the built-in amplifier. Turning off the built-in amplifier improves the quality of
"Built-in AMP" the sound from Preout.
"ON" / "OFF"
Sets the speaker type so that the System Q value is optimal.
"OFF": OFF
"Speaker
"5/4inch": For 5 & 4 in. speaker
Select"[1]
"6x9/6inch": For 6 & 6x9 in. speaker
"O.E.M.": For the OEM speaker
Upgrades the firmware.
Selecting "YES" and then pressing [Control] knob starts upgrading the firmware.

5. Select a setting using [Control] knob.
Returns to the previous item.
