Camera/Play button
Toggle between camera (recording)
mode and playback mode.
• Press the button when the
camcorder is off to turn it on directly
in playback mode.

Use the flexible recording mode to access
the menus and advanced functions and to
change various settings up to your
preferences.
In either mode, press
[START/STOP)
to shoot
movies or press
[PHOTO)
to take photos.

Index selection control button
• Touch

in any index screen to open the [Index
Selection] screen. From that screen you can touch the tabs on
top to select the memory you want to play back, and touch one
of the control buttons to select which recordings to play back
(see the following page).
