harging the Battery Pack
The camcorder can be powered with a battery pack or directly using the
compact power adapter. When you use the compact power adapter, the
power of the battery pack will not be consumed. The first time you use a
battery pack or you have not used the battery pack for an extended period
of time, fully charge it and then use the camcorder until the battery pack
is completely exhausted. Doing so will ensure that the remaining
recording time will be displayed accurately.
Connect the compact power
adapter.

Connect to the adapter (for Asia only).

Plug into a power outlet.
Insert the battery pack.
Press softly into the battery
attachment unit until the battery pack

clicks into place.
Connect the camcorder.
Plug into the DC IN terminal. Make
sure to align the triangle marks on the
