Getting Started MediaShair Mode: MediaShair mode is the normal operating mode which enables all features and functions of the device. The Powerstation mode (described in the next section) turns on only the charging output, and keeps the rest of the unit functions off to save power. Click Browse and select the file to upload from your computer to the MediaShair Hub and click OK. Please Note: Files larger than 2GB cannot be uploaded to the MediaShair Hub. The upload status screen will show the progress of the upload.
Once completed, the file uploaded will appear in the destination folder selected. Creating a New Folder: Create – Click the Create button to create a new folder in the current directory. Copying Files to/from Connected Storage Devices: Select the file to copy. Select the destination drive and click OK.
The transfer appears on the status screen, and an alert provides conformation when the file transfer is complete. Click OK to exit. Click open to access any file selected. Deleting Files: Select the file to delete. Click the delete button. A confirmation window will appear, click OK to move forward with deleting the file.
A second confirmation window will appear, click OK to delete the file or cancel to exit. Renaming Files: Select the file to rename Click the Rename button. Type the new name in the text field and click Save.
