If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a specially terminated cord by an authorized service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Do not connect via a cord extension set or electrical portable outlet device. HOSE CONNECTION 1.
SIPHON BREAK INSTALLATION If a 91 cm (36 in.) minimum standpipe is not available, or for floor drain installation and in cases where a tight connection is made between the drain hose and drain (standpipe, etc.) the 12001586 siphon break accessory is required.
STEP 3 SETUP WASHER After the washer has been properly installed there are still a few steps required before the washer is ready for operation. Make the following revisions: CS MODELS (COIN SLIDE) These models are activated by coin slide in the control center. Install the coin slide (NOT provided with the product) as follows: First, remove coin slide actuator from accessory package that is found in the back of the coin vault.
GENERAL USER INFORMATION- PD & PN models BLANK DISPLAY – This condition indicates the appliance is inoperative. Enter set-up mode to view diagnostic code. “0 MINUTES” SHOWING IN DISPLAY – This condition indicates the appliance cannot be operated. Coins dropped during this condition will be stored in escrow but cannot be used until normal operation is restored by opening and closing the lid.
HOW TO USE THE KEY PADS TO PROGRAM THE CONTROLS 1. The LOWER LEFT key pad is used to adjust the values associated with set-up codes. Pressing the key pad will increment the value. Rapid adjustment is possible by holding the key pad down. 2.

MONEY COUNTER OPTION 1.00 This option is either SELECTED ‘ON’ or NOT SELECTED ‘OFF’. Not Selected ‘OFF’. Selected ‘ON’. This mode is entered by depressing the LOWER RIGHT keypad for 1 second while in any of the set-up codes 1 through 6 anytime a diagnostic code is present, or while dAS displays if operating with Maytag Data Acquisition setup.
This mode is entered by pressing the LOWER LEFT key pad while in special pricing option mode 2.XX (or while dAS displays if operating with Maytag Data Acquisition setup). In help mode, the LOWER MIDDLE key- pad can be used to advance through three help codes (displayed as 1h.XX, 2h.XX and 3h.XX). Pressing the LOWER RIGHT keypad while any of the help codes are displayed clears the help codes.
