guide numbers at the
center of the image than
the standard illumination
pattern (the light falloff
at the edge will be
greater than the standard
illumination pattern).
• Suitable for shots, such as
portraits, in which the light
falloff at the edge of an
image can be ignored.
• The light falloff at the
edge of the image is less
than with the standard
illumination pattern.
• Suitable for group
photographs, in which
sufficient light is required
without light falloff at the
edges.
