SERVICING YOUR HONDA ENGINE
FUEL FILTER INSPECTION
1.
Remove the air cleaner cover and the paper filter elements (see page
30).
2. Remove the two 6 mm nuts and remove the air cleaner cap from the
air cleaner base.
3. Remove the two 5 mm special bolts and two 6 mm flange bolts from
a
the air cleaner base and remove the air cleaner base.
Remove the fuel filter clamped behind the air cleaner ba'se.

4.
Check the fuel filter for water accumulation or sediment. If no water
or sediment is found, reinstall the air cleaner base.

5. If the fuel filter is found with excessive water accumulation or
sediment, take the engine to your authorized Honda servicing dealer.
