Favorite (special functions)
Walkie-talkie
Two handsets can talk each other like walkie talkies without engaging the line. To
do so, they must be set on the same radio channel.
Activating walkie-talkie
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the main menu items.
2. Press the arrow keys to choose „5. Favorite", then press SELECT
soft key.
3. Press the SELECT soft key to select „1. Walk-Talkie". The phone
asks you to enter a channel number.
4. Enter a 4-digit channel number you want, and press the OK
soft key.
5. Enter your own handset number and confirm with OK.
6. Press Conn to start the connection.

Enter the handset number of the called party.
8. Be sure that your party at the other handset is set on the same
radio channel. In this case you can use your handset as a walkie-
talkie and talk with him.
Deactivating walkie-talkie
1. Press the EXIT soft key.
The phone switches to „Walkie-Talkie standby mode ". Press the
EXIT soft key again to leave the „Walkie-Talkie-menu".
The handset cannot be used as a phone while in walkie-talkie mode. Your
phone restores the normal working condition.
