Cancelling an emergency call

If an emergency call is triggered accidentally, it can
be aborted with prolonged pressing again of the
emergency call key. If you press the red hang-up
key only slightly, the phone will disconnect
this call but will start with the next number anew.

Important information on emergency functions

 Do not rely exclusively on this emergency func-
tion. The emergency function cannot be enabled
in certain situations (such as no network cover-
age or no credit for outgoing calls).
 Make sure that no answer machines are con-
nected to emergency numbers.
 Discussing the entering of emergency numbers
with the holders of these numbers is absolutely
imperative so that they know exactly what to do
in an emergency.
 The general emergency number for mobile net-
works (112) may not be entered as an emergen-
cy number; this also applies to 110 and other of-
ficial emergency numbers.
 After setting up the emergency function, test it
thoroughly and rectify any mistakes.
