Spark Arrester Maintenance
If the generator has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Allow it
to cool before proceeding.

The spark arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to maintain its
efficiency.
1. Remove the five 6 mm bolts to remove the muffler protector.

2. Remove the two 8 mm bolts at the exhaust pipe and 8 mm bolt at
the muffler stay.
Remove the muffler and spark arrester.
