Adjusting the drive clutch cable
The clutch will slip and the power carrier may not move unless the drive clutch
cable is adjusted properly.

Measure
and record the clearance
between the clutch arm and cable
holder with the drive clutch levers at their applied position (DRIVE). Next,
measure the same clearance again with the levers at their released position
(STOP).
The clearance in the released position should be 1 to 2 mm (0.04-0.08
in)
more than in the applied position.
To adjust, loosen the lock nuts and while repeatedly applying and releasing
the drive clutch levers, adjust so the change in clearance of the cable holder
to the clutch arm is l-2
mm (0.04-0.08
in).
After adjustment,
tighten the lock nuts.
