1. Attach the mounting bracket (A) Fig. 4, to the rear of
the lathe using four (three of which are shown) 1" hex
head cap screws (B). Place a lockwasher on the screw
first, then a flat washer. Secure it with a hex nut.
2. Attach the two adjustable brackets (C) Fig. 5, to the
mounting bracket (A), with four 1" hex head cap screws
(D). Place a lockwasher on the screw first, then a flat
washer. Secure it with a hex nut. NOTE: Since some
adjustment will be made later, tighten the nuts slightly to
the screws.
3. Attach the two clamping brackets (E) Fig. 6, to
adjustable brackets (C), using four 2-3/4" hex head cap
screws (F) and hex nuts (G).
