Alternate Keyboard Layouts

The AlphaSmart 3000 gives you a choice of four different keyboard
layouts to provide for special education needs. To change the keyboard
layout, press option-
only, not when the AlphaSmart 3000 is attached to a computer. You
will see four choices:

-L. This command works in stand-alone mode

Pressing 1 chooses QWERTY—the standard default layout of
most keyboards and typewriters.
