Replacing the processor

Ê Lock the backplane by shutting the green clamp.
Ê Reinstall the hot-plug hard disk modules (for a detailed description see the
Operating Manual).
Ê Put the drive cage on the guide rails at the expansion box.
Ê Carefully push the drive cage backwards, until the side lock engages.
Ê Connect all cables with the backplane.
Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see
the Options Guide).

Replacing the processor

CAUTION!
Processors are modules which are extremely sensitive to electrostatic
discharges and therefore must always be handled with care. After a
processor has been removed from its protective sleeve or from its
socket, place it with its smooth side down on a non-conducting, antistatic
surface. Never push a processor over a surface.
